We recently conducted a public opinion poll to gauge adult Floridians perspectives regarding genomic newborn screening in the State:
- Most Floridians think the benefits of gNBS outweigh the risks
- Floridians are proud to be taking the lead on newborn screening for rare diseases
- Most Floridians who plan to have a child soon are interested in gNBS
- Most Floridians support use of de-identified gNBS data for research
